BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Washington’s lead education agency wants to know what you would like to see improved in our state's schools.
The Washington Student Achievement Council is kicking off its statewide listening tour in Bellingham as teachers make a road map for the next 10 years of education in our state.
Council board member Scott Brittain says they want to hear firsthand from parents about what our state can do to lead the nation in education.

Council board member Scott Brittain says they want to hear firsthand from parents about what our state can do to lead the nation in education.
Brittain, who also serves as the Ferndale School District’s District Project Manager, says the goal of the listening tour is to make sure that our state's schools are teaching kids the skills they need to prepare for the future.
People who want to share their thoughts about education can speak with the board members at a special public forum from 4:30 to 6:00 this afternoon at Whatcom Community College's Heiner Center room 210.
