OLYMPIA, Wash. (Metro) -- Republican Dino Rossi is headed back to the state legislature.
This afternoon, heraldnet.com reports he'll take the oath of office for his old seat in the 5th Legislative District, the one he gave up to run for governor in 2004.
He lost a razor-thin race to Democrat Chris Gregoire, then lost their 2008 rematch and unsuccessfully tried to unseat Democratic U.S. Senator Patty Murray in 2010.
Republican Cheryl Pflug resigned the position to accept an appointment from Governor Gregoire to the Western Washington Growth Management Hearings Board.
