Attorney General James Cole to discuss the state's passage of a measure to legalize recreational use of marijuana.
The measure, which was approved by 55 percent of the state's voters, will decriminalize the possession of up to one ounce of marijuana among residents age 21 and older, beginning December 6.
While the state has legalized recreational use of pot, it's still a violation of federal law.
Governor's Office spokesman Cory Curtis says Gregoire will seek direction from the Department of Justice on the issue.
