TACOMA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Washington's Lean Management Program to make state government more efficient is working. 

That's in a report that Governor Christine Gregoire discussed yesterday at the Washington State Government Lean Transformation Conference in Tacoma. 

In one case, the Department of Licensing cut customer service call wait-times by more than four minutes and increased the number of calls by 3400.
