The bill, sponsored by Enumclaw Representative Christopher Hurst, would reduce the distance between places where marijuana can be sold and certain public facilities, including parks, playgrounds and transit centers.
That distance would shrink from 1,000 to 500 feet.
The thousand-foot rule would remain in place concerning schools.
