you must have linked the wrong article because the USA Today link says nothing about who or what is causing climate change and I don't find anywhere that it says "we can deny it all we want but that won’t make it go away"

The key word in this blog is, editorial, It is a sad commentary on our society when members of the media report on editorials and classify them as facts. If you as a progressive truly believe that man is killing the earth by driving cars and having children, then you woulds stop driving today, and lobby for forced sterilization, but since it is a simple attempt to enslave the masses you as a progressive still drive, still fly on vacation, still have children, still operate computers et.al. If you were a true believer, you would be like ed begley jr and get off the grid and ride your bike everywhere leading by example not coercion.

The big problem with the work done is not that it was refuted, but that the authors were accused of plagerism. While it is a serious charge, plagerism does not mean the study was false. It means that they took somebody else's ideas and used it as their own. So, the arrow stays in the quiver.
