Manslaughter Added to Charges Against Skagit Couple

Mt. Vernon, WA -- A Skagit County couple accused of homicide by abuse in the death of their adopted teenage daughter are scheduled for arraignment Wednesday. 

Prosecutors have added 1st degree manslaughter by domestic violence to the charges against Larry and Carri Williams, and allege the couple inflicted abuse on Hana Williams for a "prolonged period of time." 

The couple also face charges of 1st degree child assault against their adopted son. 
Officials say Hana Williams, who was found unconscious in her parents' back yard last may, died of hypothermia caused by malnutrition.
