MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican leftist presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Tuesday he would ask the country's election authorities to recount the votes from Sunday's contest, which showed him about 6.5 percentage points behind the winner.

Enrique Pena Nieto of the Institutional Revolutionary Party won the election, the results showed.
