Ne-Yo denies using documentary to blast ex

Ne-Yo has denied using a recent documentary to get back at his ex-girlfriend Jessica White after admitting he was led to believe the supermodel's son was his.

The "So Sick" singer was touring when he found out that his then girlfriend was pregnant, and after the birth of baby boy Chimere in 2005, took on the role of the tot's father.

But after his friends and family spoke out about their doubts over the child's paternity, he requested a test to discover if he was the biological father.

When the results showed he was not the dad, Ne-Yo and White split and lost contact after the model demanded child support, which she was entitled to in the state of California.

He used a recent edition of VH1's Behind the Music series to open up about the drama, but denies he decided to talk about his ex in a bid to make her look bad.

Taking to Twitter, Ne-Yo writes, "I need it to be known that the purpose of my BEHIND THE MUSIC wasn't to bash Jessica White. We were young, mistakes were made. I FORGAVE."

"Holding grudges messes with your blessings. I do not hate Jessica White. I wish her and lil' (sic) Chimere all the best where ever (sic) they are. LOVE."
