Poll Of WA Residents Produces Shocker In Presidential Race

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A new survey by Public Policy Polling has produced a shocker in the Presidential race here in Washington.

The poll shows President Obama's lead over Mitt Romney here in Washington down from 54  to 40 percent to only 50 to 45 just before this week's Presidential candidates' debate, and "Seattlepi.com" says the group is considered Democrat leaning.

The poll also put Democrat Jay Inslee's lead over Republican Rob McKenna in the Governor's race up three points to 48 to 42 percent.
