The rightwing noise machine continues to maintain that Americans aren't supportive of the Occupy demonstrations happening in more than one thousand communities across the nation. I'm not surprised to hear that, but it's just not true (I'm also not surprised that the rightwing noise machine would lie). In fact, a recent Time poll found that Occupy is way more popular than the Tea Party (54-27%). And a Quinnipiac University poll found two thirds of New Yorkers support the movement.
Many conservatives might not consider themselves part of the 99%, but they sure are members of an ever dwindling minority who cheer corporate control of our government and our lives as those same corporations ship more and more jobs overseas.
I can't stand with those who vote against their own best interests trying to claim that they're voting for mine.

It's interesting to watch the lame-stream media try and prop these protesters up at smart, folks with a real message. When in fact, they can only seem to speak in bumper-sticker phrases, they can't explain how to logically get to the stated goal in the catch phrase they chant and generally sound a lot like Obama when he's off the prompter!!
Do all you libs think that Obama is cleaning up the corporate influence in Washington?? Get real!! Crony-capitalism has exploded under Obama. From literally week one he reneged on his promise to not hire lobbyists in his administration. This has not only brought lobbyists to the periphery officials in the administration, but directly to the president daily.
If folks really want to reduce the influence of corporations and special interest on Washington, they should move the legislators OUT of Washington and put them back in their respective districts for all but a couple weeks or months a year. That would make it MUCH more difficult and expensive for special interest to influence 435 folks daily. Special interest would have to fly everywhere in the U.S. in order to bribe politicians; it would make it all but impossible to do. Conversely, We The People would have a lot more access to our elected representatives. Think about it. . .
I'm not saying that the only corruption is on the left; far from it. I am saying that corruption on a massive scale has exploded under Obama and it's not even being done in the shadows anymore; it's in the open in plain view for all to see. You are seeing the Chicago-thug-way brought nation wide and it's a travesty.
A simple example of cronyism at the banking level: The Frank-Dodd banking reform act was proposed and campaigned to reign in banks and get those greedy bankers under control all the while protesting the little guys from greedy banking practices. One of the many provisions it had in it was to stop the banks from automatically switching funds from a persons savings account to your checking account in the event that you mess-up your math in your checkbook and accidentally over draw your account by as little as .01 (that's ONE PENNY). This was a service that was virtually automatic at most decent institutions So now, the banks have no choice but to charge YOU a $25 over draw fee for EVERY time you do it unless you specifically fill out paperwork and re-set-up your account this way Then there are now limits on this. Well whom do you folks think this new regulation hits the hardest?? A guy with $10K+ in his checking account at any given time, or does it hit the average Joe who deposits his paycheck every Friday and by the next Thursday it's on it's last $5 or less?? Before you get pissed off at the bank, think about who is forcing them by law to do it that way; OBAMA and the left!!
It's not B. Frank or C. Dodd who wrote that bill. It's progressive groups like the Tides Foundation and others who actually write the bills. Frank and Dodd just co-sponsor it to get it brought up to a vote in Congress. Literally every bill they have introduced has been written by special interest. If you really look with an objective mind, you will see more often than not, that the people HURT by this legislation are the SAME FOLKS they are supposed to HELP. . . This is nothing more than allowing the foxes to guard the hen house. The politicians are allowing this stuff in there and in turn they receive huge campaign donations from these same banks; they work hand in hand.
Wake-up my liberal friends and smell the TEA!!!

in the numbers joey states above he leaves out that the 1,001 people polled (by no means a true representation of America as polls have become corrupt especially the ones joey sights) that only 4% of the 1,001 polled "feel positive" about the state of the economy today. All you need to do is skew the question these people were asked and the outcome of there poll numbers would be totally different. It's predictable to someone with common sense but to dumb down easily manipulated useful idiots (democrats) it's crack cocaine to whip them into frenzies of disobedience. Like a bunch of slaves (can I say that?)and robots they follow the orders from above and the tabloid news media (democrat supporters) manipulates all who will listen to believe the lies.
The numbers that don't lie are the reality you are all staring at everyday you wake up in this obomba democrat economy. Have you lost your job? Can you find a job? Are you worried your gonna lose your job? Lose your house yet? Do you owe more on it than it's worth? Are your credit cards maxed out? Have you filed for bankruptcy? Are your school loans killing you? Has obomba bought you that car yet with all that obomba money? Are you mad that obomba has tripled the national debt in 2.5 years? Have your taxes gone up or down? Have you been deported yet (obomba administration deporting illegals at record numbers)? Are you on food stamps? Has your rent gone up to cover new democrat government regulations? Have you walked through a $8.5 million dollar park lately? Have you drank a cup of water today from that clean lake called your watershed? Have you walked over a $3 million dollar trail bridge on Alabama st. lately? Have you seen a small group of unruly useful idiots on any street corners lately? Have you heard a democrat accept responsibility lately for all the hardship they have dumped on Americans or have you seen democrats pointing fingers and blaming others for all the failures democrats have forced upon us all?.

Actually Joe, the right wing "noise machine" is addressing specifically why the Times poll show that level of popularity. Have you watched normal news about the fleabaggers, and have you juxtaposed that to the news coverage of the Tea partiers?
BTW still looking for video and/or pictures of the tea party protesters holding the Obama/witch doctor Posters. I am pretty sure there are none in existence.
