Same-Sex Marriage, Marijuana, Tax Limits Winning In Polls

OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- With the November election just under a month away, it looks like Washington voters are ready to approve Referendum 74 to keep the state's new same-sex marriage law, and Initiative 502 to legalize and tax marijuana.  

Ahead by 2-1 is Tim Eyman's Initiative 1185 to again force a two-thirds majority vote of the Legislature to raise taxes. 
 

Senator Maria Cantwell and the charter schools Initiative 1240 also have solid leads.
