MOUNT BAKER, Wash. --  Volunteers plan to resume their search today for a 69-year-old hiker missing on Mt. Baker.
 
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office was notified late Saturday night that the Bellingham man had not returned from a trip to the Rainbow Ridge area near Baker Lake.
 
A Sheriff’s Spokesman says Deputies found the man’s vehicle early yesterday morning.
 
Later, Search and Rescue volunteers from Whatcom and Skagit Counties joined the search, but found no sign of the missing hiker.
