SEDRO WOOLLEY, Wash. (Metro) -- Sedro-Woolley and Mount Vernon first responders are going high tech.
The fire departments have recently started using a new technology which allows them to communicate more efficiently and helps improve safety.
The program is called Spillman Mobile.
Officials say the program features a GPS navigation system, incident information and a messaging system that helps first responders collect more accurate data.
Authorities are hoping to have first responders countywide on board soon.
