BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Whatcom Community College is looking for local families who are able to house an international exchange student.
WCC’s International Programs Department is expecting up to 90 international students in September mostly from China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
International Programs Director Kelly Kester says hosts need to provide a room and three meals a day for the students, and in turn will be compensated.
A total of forty homes are needed especially for male students.
