Williams Trial Pushed Back Until Summer

MOUNT VERNON, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The couple accused of causing the death of their adopted daughter are having their trial postponed until later this year.

Larry and Carri Williams will now have to answer to a number of charges in July, including first-degree manslaughter.

The trial was originally set to begin this February.

The Williams' are accused of causing injuries to Hana Williams, who was found dead in the family's backyard back in May of 2011.

The child's body will be exhumed at some point in order to determine how old she was, since she was adopted out of Ethiopia and her exact age was unknown.

A charge of homicide by abuse only applies if the victim was under 16-years-old.
