“Blazing Paddles”—A Paddling Film Festival!

Ignite your passion for adventure, action and the wild wet world of paddling–at the third annual Paddling Film Festival–featuring the best films from the international Paddling Film Festival competition! These award-winning films present a variety of paddling-related footage in astounding locations around the world! Admission is $15.

Blazing Paddles” is a benefit for Washington Water Trails Association–a non-profit organization dedicated to “protecting the public’s right to access our waterways for sustainable recreation and travel”.

Members of Mount Baker Rock & Gem Club will be showing and telling stories about four of their favorite rocks, gems, minerals or fossils. The evening will also include door prizes, refreshments, a silent auction of rocks and rock literature and a brief business meeting. (Visitors are always welcome, with or without rocks or stories!)

Bellingham Theatre Guild presents The Drowsy Chaperone–in a performance hosted by Bellingham Senior Activity Center. This annual VIP Night will also include wine, appetizers, dessert items and a silent auction of baskets of fabulous items donated by local businesses and restaurants. Tickets are $25.00 per person. Proceeds support programs at the Senior Activity Center.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a five-time Tony Award-winning play that began on Broadway in 2006. It’s a Jazz musical-within-a-play, as a man in his apartment begins listening to an old comedy record and a Broadway set begins to appear around him!
