Whatcom Museum History Sunset Cruises

Whatcom Museum‘s popular History Sunset Cruise program sails into its 32nd year! The tour gives you  a close-up view of parks, businesses, industry and neighborhoods from Bellingham Bay, aboard Island Mariner. You’ll travel down waterways; past shipyards and historic points of interest; fishing activities and the work and pleasure boats; freighters and tugboats that are in the harbor. Harbor seals and water birds are regularly seen. It’s a memorable evening!

Brian Griffin is your tour guide, tying his knowledge of local history with up-to-date facts about bay activities. Click here for more information. Tickets are $35.

Whidbey Island Radio Control Society presents the 25th annual Jets Over Whidbey–the Pacific Northwest’s premier radio controlled jet aircraft event. You’ll see RC jets from all over the country! There are plenty of local amenities, and guests are always welcome–with free entry, free parking and camping available. The show runs all weekend, starting Friday at 2pm.
