All Day

Due to the hot Summer weather and low moisture levels, the Whatcom County Fire Marshal’s Office is enacting restrictions on all open burning–through September 27th (8am).

All land clearing and yard debris burning must be discontinued at that time. Recreational fires will still be allowed in designated campgrounds and on improved properties with the landowner’s permission. For a description of the requirements of an approved enclosure call the Burn Information Line: 676-6934.
