2 WSU basketball players suspended

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Two Washington State University basketball players have been suspended for violations of team rules.

Basketball coach Ken Bone announced the suspension of Danny Lawhorn last week and the suspension of Jordan Railey on Tuesday.

Lawhorn is a junior guard while Railey is a junior center.

Details on what team rules they violated were not immediately available.

Bone says no timetable has been set for the return of either player.

The Cougars have already opened practice for the coming season.
