BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police say underage drinking will not be tolerated at high school graduation parties.

Lieutenant Bob Vander Yacht says officers will be on the lookout for underage drinking at local graduation festivities.

Parents can face serious charges if they host a graduation party where alcohol is being served.

Bellingham High School holds its graduation ceremony on Friday and Squalicum High School’s commencement is on Saturday.

Ferndale grads got their diplomas last Saturday.
