BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Amtrak Cascades train service is adding an additional round trip between Seattle and Bellingham, starting today.
State Transportation Secretary Lynn Peterson says the extra trip will give passengers more options after the collapse of a section of the I-5 bridge over the Skagit River.
The temporary round-trip, using a Sounder train, will depart Seattle daily at 8:15 a.m. and depart Bellingham at 5:15 p.m.
