Angels reportedly agree to deal with Ibanez

(Anaheim, CA)  —  With the trade of Mark Trumbo, the Angels are adding outfield depth.  CBS Sports reports Los Angeles and free agent Raul Ibanez have agreed to a one-year, 2.75-million-dollar contract.  The 41-year-old turned back the clock last season, swatting 29 homers and driving in 65 runs for the Mariners.  The 18-year-veteran will get at-bats primarily as the Halos’ DH, but could spell Josh Hamilton, Mike Trout, Kole Calhoun and J.B. Shuck in the outfield.
