BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police believes 15 burglaries of local businesses in the last several months are related.

Between August 30 and November 25, a burglar has gained access by smashing through a glass door or window.

Sergeant Jason Monson says the main items taken are cash from registers and jewelry.

Some ways local businesses can protect themselves is to have a working alarm, install a safe, and put lighting inside and outside the building.

Anonymous tips about these burglaries can be left via email on the Bellingham Police Departments’ website.
