The “Bellingham Herald” reports 50-year-old Dave Mauro reached the top of the world’s tallest mountain in Nepal on Monday as part of a team of 21.
Mauro scaled the mountain as part of his “Climbing for Kids” campaign, the goal of which is to raise $29,029 or a dollar for each foot of Mount Everest.
