BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham officials want to know what people think about the city’s parks as they get ready to update their six-year plan for Parks and Recreation.
The city has created an online survey for people to give their opinion.
Leslie Bryson with the Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department says the plan will analyze the supply and demand for parks and recreation within the city.
She says some park users want more parkland while others say they want more services.
Bellingham is home to 36 parks and 70 miles of trails.
Officials have to adopt a new parks plan in order to apply for state grant funding under the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program.
The online survey is available through September 9.
