Bellingham Slam trump the East Bay Pit Bulls 111-83

The Bellingham Slam faced the Pit Bulls from Martinez, CA and took the game 111-83. A last-second put back by Nick Moore put the Slam up 27-26 after the first quarter

At halftime, the Slam led the Pit Bulls in an unusual defensive battle 51-32. Poole with 19&7, Jacob with 12, Moore with 6&6.

The Slam outscored the Pit Bulls 24-6 in the second quarter setting a new franchise record for fewest pts allowed in a quarter.

Both teams struggled from the floor in a very hot and humid gymnasium, neither team shooting over 42%.

It continued to be all Slam in the 3rd quarter with the Slam leading 88-59.

Poole checked out with 2:39 left with 32 pts, 16 rbs, and 6 assists and the Slam took the game 111-83 over the East Bay Pit Bulls.
