The Bellingham Blazers returned to home ice Friday night after seven consecutive games on the road as they hosted the Tri-Cities Outlaws. The first two periods saw only one Blazer goal until the Blazers exploded for four goals in the period to cruise to a Northern Pacific Hockey League 5-1 win at the Bellingham Sportsplex. Cody Rich led the Blazers with a two goal one assist performance on the night for a team leading 22 goals and 21 assists on the season.
The Bellingham Blazers were firing on all cylinders Saturday night as they faced the visiting Tri-Cities Outlaws and when the final buzzer sounded at the Bellingham Sportsplex the Blazers won 4-1. The Blazers notched their 16 win of the season in a hard fought game as four different Blazer players notched goals against the Outlaws. Kristjan Toivola led the team on the night with a goal and assist while earning first star of the game honors.
The Blazers head to Bremerton to take to the ice next weekend (December 7 & 8) against league leading West Sound Warriors and their high powered offense.
