Bellingham United F.C. falls to Khalsa SC

In a hard-fought match, Bellingham United F.C. fell to Khalsa 3-2 at Civic Stadium in Bellingham.

The Hammers got on the scoreboard first with a Kellan Brown goal in the 20th minute. After a Khalsa goal in the 33rd minute to tie the match, Kurtis Peterson scored on a rebound from a free kick to give Bellingham another lead. Khalsa scored again before halftime, leaving the match 2-2. Khalsa then scored early in the second half to earn the victory.

Despite the loss, the Hammers remain in first place in the PCSL. Bellingham returns to the pitch on July 7th in a re-match with Khalsa. The match is set for 3pm at Civic Stadium in Bellingham.
