Bells earn unlikely win over Falcons

Entering the bottom of the 9th, the Bellingham Bells trailed the Kelowna Falcons 4-1. After one out and seven batters later, the Bells emerged victorious 5-4 at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham.

With the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th, Eric Angerer hit a 2-run double to tie the game at 4-4. Nate Anderson followed with a walk to reload the bases, and Johnny Farrington drew a walk to earn the Bells a hard-earned victory.

Michael Rucker earned the victory for the Bells in one inning of relief.

The Bells begin a three-game series with the Kitsap Blue Jackets at the Gene Lobe Fields at the Kitsap Fairgrounds in Bremerton.
