BELLINGHAM, Wash. – For her school culminating project, a Bellingham High School senior is organizing a charity walk to raise money and spread awareness about mental health.
Madison Perry says mental illness is more common than many people may realize, and it’s not something to be ashamed of.
The walk is Saturday, from 10:00 to 1:00 at Bellingham High School.
Registration is $5 in advance and $6 on the day of the event.
The money raised will benefit the Whatcom Psychiatric Clinic.
