Blaine loses heartbreaker to Lord Tweedsmuir

The Blaine High School football team came up just short Thursday night falling to Lord Tweedsmuir of B.C. 35-34. A potential game-tying extra point for Blaine was blocked in the closing seconds. The Borderites had a touchdown, onside kick and another touchdown in the final three minutes. Blaine quarterback Nate Kramme threw five touchdown passes, all to sophomore wide receiver Josiah Westbrook.

There are a pair of games on the radio Friday night. We have Ferndale and Sehome on KPUG and KPUG1170.com with a 6:35 pre-game show and 7:00 kickoff. On AM790 KGMI and KGMI.comĀ it’s Lynden Christian hosting Friday Harbor with an early start. That one is a 5:35 pre-game start and 6:00 kickoff.
