SEATTLE, Wash. – A Blaine man says he was driving home after a Seattle hospital visit when he pulled off the road, suffered an epileptic seizure and awoke to find himself in a bizarre abduction.
Police in Lake Forest Park say the man called for help Sunday morning, saying he had just escaped through a window because his captors used a bomb to booby trap a door.
Police say that it was a dummy bomb.
The man’s car was stolen, but Seattle police helped recover it.
Two men have been arrested.
A judge set bail Monday at $300,000 each for the two, who are being held for investigation of unlawful imprisonment.
The victim says he was held for more than 24 hours.
He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
