Boy Scouts tree pick up tomorrow

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Boy Scouts are collecting discarded Christmas trees tomorrow.

Organizer Phil McAfee says people in Bellingham, Ferndale, Blaine, Lynden and Everson can just leave trees on the curb.

If you live in Birch Lay, Laurel, or elsewhere in the county call McAfee at 360-733-1513 for a pickup.

The scouts will go to doors for a donation.

The trees will be chipped and used as mulch in local parks.
