BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The non-profit TV channel C-Span, known for bringing Congress into living rooms across the country, has picked Bellingham to be part of its “C-Span Cities Tour.”
Producer Ashley Hill says the cities tour brings local stories and history to a national audience.
Hill says Bellingham was chosen because of its unique history and rich literary culture.
A film and production crew from C-Span will arrive in Bellingham on December 9.
They’ll be here for about a week to meet with local historians, authors, and civic leaders.
The features they produce will air January 4 and 5 on C-Span 2 and 3.
