BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Community Food Co-op is hosting a GMO information series with a film and discussion panel event tonight.
Outreach manager Adrienne Battis says the co-op is sponsoring the free event to help local people learn more about GMO’s in preparation for voting on state Initiative 522, which would require food with GMO’s to be labeled.
After a showing of the documentary “GMO OMG” there will be a panel discussion.
Panelists will be able to answer questions about GMO’s, the film and Initiative 522.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Pickford Film Center.
