Cougars sign JC transfer

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Washington State has signed junior college transfer Jermaine Morgan to a letter of intent to play basketball next season.

Coach Ken Bone says Morgan is a 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward who plays at Moberly Area Community College in Missouri. He is averaging 8 points and 8 rebounds per game this season.

Morgan is a 2012 graduate of Whitney Young High in Chicago.

He will enter Washington State next year as a junior.
