County Council candidate forum Wednesday

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – The Whatcom Tea Party is hosting the first of two town hall forums for local political candidates Wednesday.

Candidates for the Whatcom County Council will share their positions on local issues and answer questions from the audience.

The forum is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ferndale High School auditorium.

I will be broadcast live on KGMI News Talk 790.

It will be moderated by Jacob Deschenes, a co-host of KGMI’s “Saturday Morning Live”.

The Tea Party’s second candidate forum will be at Bellingham High School on July 24, and will feature candidates for the Bellingham City Council and the Port of Bellingham.
