BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A nationwide DUI emphasis campaign â€śDrive Sober or Get Pulled Overâ€ť begins today.
Shelly Baldwin with the Washington Traffic Safety Commission says even though itâ€™s now legal to smoke pot in Washington State, it is illegal to drive while impaired by any substance, including marijuana.
Regional police enforcement is participating in the emphasis patrol which runs through Labor Day weekend.
