BELLINGHAM, Wash. – There might be fewer seasonal jobs to go around in Bellingham this holiday season.
Jeff Robinson with the Employment Security Department says they projecting about 400 seasonal hires in Bellingham this year.
That’s roughly 140 less jobs than last year.
He says the number of seasonal hires has started a downward trend in the last couple years.
Statewide roughly 13,500 seasonal hires are expected, about the same as 2012.
