OLYMPIA, Wash. – Governor Jay Inslee will not be getting a raise this year, but other state officials will.
The Washington Citizens’ Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials, which meets every two years, has decided to hold the governor’s annual pay at $166,891 for this year and next.
Among those getting pay increases will be Lieutenant Governor Brad Owen, State Treasurer Jim McIntire, Lands Commissioner Peter Goldmark and Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn.
The nine members of the Washington State Supreme Court will also get raises.
