BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A suspected murderer helped police by turning himself in early yesterday.

Bellingham Police say 34-year-old David Alan Solomon broke down a door of a motel room at the Aloha Motel on Samish Way and beat 33-year-old Ike Scarborough.

Scarborough was the new boyfriend of Soloman’s ex-girlfriend, who was also in the motel room.

Rick Sucee with Bellingham Police says they were searching for Solomon when he turned himself in about 3:00 a.m. yesterday.
