MARYSVILLE, Wash. - A customer in a Marysville Kmart store last night said he had a gun and threatened “to shoot everyone in the store,” before leaving the store.
No one was hurt.
Police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux says the man was seen on store surveillance video leaving before officers arrived.
According to a store spokesperson, the man was in the sporting goods section when he overheard an employee mention store security.
The comment was not directed at the man, but he became very upset and told the employee he had a gun and was going to shoot everyone in the store.
Officers have not found anyone who actually saw a weapon.
The man is described as about 6 feet tall and heavy-set, wearing a gray button shirt and a black bandanna around his head.
He may have left with a heavy-set blonde woman.
