WASHINGTON, D.C. – As the Washington State Department of Transportation continues to install a replacement span on the Skagit River bridge over Interstate-5, Washington’s Second District Representative is calling on federal lawmakers to invest more in transportation.
Congressman Rick Larsen spoke on the floor of the House Tuesday.
The Senate Appropriations Transportation Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the Skagit River bridge collapse later today.
