BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Logos Bible Software is growing so rapidly that the company’s CEO is proposing a major new downtown building.
CEO Bob Pritchett says they are running out of space for their 290 local employees in their current three downtown buildings.
He wants to remodel property the company already owns on the corner of Commercial and West Magnolia into an 18-story mixed-use building.
Logos would occupy about 60 percent of the office space in the middle floors and need another tenant to fill the rest of the space.
Prichett is also proposing that the city build a parking garage on the property next to the mixed-use building as part of a public-private partnership.
The proposal is still preliminary, but Prichett says he wants to make it public now in order to get community feedback.
