McGinn: NHL’s Coyotes may relocate to Seattle

(Seattle, WA)  –  There’s again talk of a professional sports team possibly moving to Seattle.  Mayor Mike McGinn says he’s spoken with National Hockey League Commissioner Gary Bettman and investors who want to buy the Phoenix Coyotes and move the club to the Emerald City.  The NHL, which currently owns the franchise, would like to keep the Coyotes in Glendale, Arizona, but have been unable to reach an arena agreement with officials there.  Should there be no agreement reached, the Coyotes would reportedly be sold to investors Ray Bartoszek [[ BAR-to-zek ]] and Anthony Larza for 220-million dollars and move to Seattle.
