MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – BrandQuery in Mount Vernon will lead the regional marketing campaign in response to the collapse of the Interstate-5 bridge over the Skagit River on May 23.
The marketing firm won the bid out of some dozen others competing to use the $150,000 emergency fund released by Governor Jay Inslee.
BrandQuery’s president Jacque Beamer says they presented their ideas to the San Juan, Skagit, Whatcom and Island county partners Wednesday.
They’re working with PR firms in King County and Bellingham’s Hankcrank Films to produce TV and radio advertisements in time for the Department of Transportation’s opening of a temporary bridge span.
Beamer says their ad campaign covering King County up to British Columbia will run through the end of the month.
