OSO, Wash. – The list of people still missing from the Oso mudslide has been reduced to 90.
Snohomish County Emergency Manager John Pennington says the number of missing at one point was more than 200.
Search crews found another body late yesterday, bringing the death toll to 25, but not all the victims have been recovered.
When asked if there could be 90 more bodies in the mud, Pennington said it’s tough to answer.
Pennington says they expect to update the death toll this morning.
He says they’re still hoping to find survivors, but they don’t need any more rescue volunteers at this point. Pastor Mike Deluca says things in the area will never be the same.
