New owner plans to spruce up Lynden landmark

LYNDEN, Wash. – A new local owner of the Lynden Dutch Village Mall has big plans to breathe new life into the downtown landmark.

Lynden Floor owner Greg Neufeldt bought the property for $1.1 million on November 1.

Nuefeldt says he and his ownership team, Tim Broersma and Ben Ryan who run Element’s Hospitality,¬†are going to get the iconic windmill turning once again.

Elements Hospitality, a hotel and resort renovation company, will move in it’s 40 employees.

Neufeldt says the design team will renovate the Dutch Village Inn and revamp the empty retail spaces.
