BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A local doctor says the allergy season this year is set to drag on well into July.
Doctor David Elkayam says a longer and stronger allergy season will be the new norm.
The predicted sunny weather next week will bring an extremely high grass pollen count that will continue for the next several weeks.
The American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology says 30 percent of adults and 40 percent of children in the U.S. suffer from seasonal allergies.
